T3Energy Solar6:

The T3Energy Solar6  is a state of the art “Solar Space Heating” system designed to allow owners to make use of the suns energy to heat their homes.
 
It has 3 main components:

  • Roof integrated Solar Heat Generators (pictured at right)
  • Electronic controller .
  • Ducting, Fan and Vents.



 Electronic Controller:

The Electronic Controller is the brains of the system . The Controller constantly monitors roof array temperature and room temperature and makes smart decisions about how  best to use the available heat.

The Controller has been specially designed by a leading HVAC  (Heating, Ventilation, & Air Conditioning) supplier for “Solar Thermal” applications.

By setting the target temperature of the Solar6 slightly above the target temperature of your existing heating system the Solar6  will work with your existing system to use the suns energy to keep your home at the perfect temperature when ever heat is available.

Solar Heat Generator Modules:

The Solar array is made up of individual solar generator modules each generating heat to be ducted directly into the home. 

The array size and configuration is flexible depending on your available roof space and heating requirement.

The design of the modules allows arrays to be fitted to unusual roof shape.

The Australian National University testing indicated that on a sunny day the generators are capable of producing air temperatures above 60°C in ambient air temperatures of less than 10°C.


How the SOLAR6 system works:


   

Ducting can be external or internal but is most easily installed within existing cupboard space.

An inline fan is used to drive the system and is activated by the electronic controller whenever the target and array temperature are above room temperature.

  • A typical array will consist of  between15 and 50 generator modules depending on you heat requirement.
  • Module are: 450 mm x 700mm
  • Each module weighs 13kg
  • Array configuration is almost infinitely scalable and flexible to meet your needs.
  • Each module can generate around 150W of heat , for  total array outputs of between 2.25kW and 7.5kW.
